Windsurfing

Windsurfing at the Rohrspitz is especially interesting with winds from the north and northwest, but also west and east winds are suitable. The entry is very convenient due to the gently sloping beach, which makes windsurfing interesting even for beginners. Windsurfing during the “foehn” (strong, warm winds coming down from the mountains) is not recommended, as it can be very unpredictable: warnings must therefore be observed.

As with kitesurfing, windsurfing during the summer months is only allowed in a 200-meter-wide corridor southwest of the harbor exit; from November 1 until May 10, there is absolutely no windsurfing allowed. The equipment for windsurfing can not be borrowed from us.
